DELIVERY

All items are handmade so delivery times may vary.  We ask that you allow 5 - 10 working days for pieces to be made.  Items requiring hallmarking may take slightly longer.

Orders will be dispatched via your chosen delivery option.  If you need something in a particular hurry please do get in touch.  If there is any difficulty with delivery, you will be notified within 24-48 hours.

We will let you know as soon as your order has been dispatched.

POSTAGE AND PACKAGING

All Jewellery is packaged in Chesil Jewellery boxes and can be gift wrapped on request.

UK Delivery

By default all orders in the UK are sent by standard service.  Whilst this service is incredibly reliable it is not guaranteed or insured.  If you order is of high value or particularly urgent we strongly recommend using the Special Delivery option which is guaranteed and insured up to £500.

Standard service (2 – 3 days)                                        £6.00

International delivery

International orders are sent by Royal Mail international signed for service and includes up to £250 insurance

Europe (3 – 5 days)                                                       £15.00

Rest of the world (5 – 7 days)                                       £18.00

The vast majority of items will arrive well within this time frame but times are dependant on the postal service in your country which means that occasionally they can take longer so please allow up to 25 business days. 

We will always send you a message to let you know when your jewellery has been despatched and to give you the tracking number if relevant.

Very occasionally a package may take longer than expected and you should allow up to 25 business days. If your package hasn't arrived by then please get in touch and we will contact the delivery company and send out a replacement if necessary.

Unpredicted events can affect shipping times eg: severe weather conditions, increased security measures etc. Costs as subject to change at any time due to Royal Mail price changes.

We obtain a proof of posting for all packages - UK and International.

Customer is responsible for any customs charges/import duty/taxes etc they may incur in their country.

RETURNS POLICY

Jewellery ordered from our web site can be returned (if unworn) within 28 days for a credit note or exchange or within 7 days for a full refund (minus any postage paid). Earrings, ‘made to order’ pieces and bespoke commissions are non returnable.  Please notify us as soon as possible, by email, if you wish to return your purchase and we will email you return details.

Please ensure that you email us when you have returned the item so that we know to expect it.

In the UK all jewellery should be returned by Royal Mail Special Delivery to ensure a secure and traceable delivery. For Europe and Worldwide orders please ensure your method of return is tracked and insured to the value of the goods.

We are unable to accept responsibility for the non-arrival of returned goods unless sent as stated. Refunds, exchanges and credit notes will be for the original value of the item purchased, excluding any delivery charges and taxes where appropriate.

Please inform us of all breakages within 48 hours of receiving the order. Faulty Items will only be accepted if the goods are delivered to the customer damaged or if there is a subsequent manufacturing fault with in a period of 6 months.

All items will be inspected and if deemed to be subject to fair wear and tear will not be accepted as faulty. We offer a repair service, where repair is possible, for Chesil Jewellery jewellery only, a fee may apply.
